Friends of the Roxy
At the start of our Kickstarter Campaign we of course never wanted to put all of our eggs in one basket so to speak. We set out seeking a partner or partners to at a very minimum fund any portion of the upgrade that we couldn't raise. We have a strong desire to keep the Roxy going no matter what the Kickstarter outcome was.
We approached Mark and Kristina Pickard and pitched them the idea of partnering with us to provide the Roxy’s upgrades. We learned today that Mark and Kristina wish to partner with us to complete the upgrades. We are very excited as this ensures the continued success of the Roxy. In addition to new seating, we plan on making some upgrades that will make the Roxy as modern as any theater around. We know money is tight for everyone, so now that Mark and Kristina are partners, we feel it is appropriate to suspend the Kickstarter fundraising. Please know that we value every single donation and know that everyone gave as much as they could. This partnership was a great way to fund the Roxy without asking our community to dig deep. We look forward to showcasing our upgrades in a Grand Re-Opening very soon. Please contact us if you have any questions.
