Friends of The Roxy
This page is dedicated to the fine members and patrons that have taken the time and an intrest in The Roxy. It is with these "Friends" that we can purchase new equipment or just update the look of the theatre. This group was instramental in the restoration of the theatre and we are very greatful for them. Why are you not a Friend?
MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
Have you seen the papers? We are ramping up A NEW Friends of The Roxy. Gone are the days of just a name on a board. We have decided to have one special night just for the friends. This will be a dress code event with a meal and drinks along with some fun before a private movie viewing. This will be a night like you have never had here at The Roxy. With the new drive, all you have to do is donate $200 or more and then you in!! This drive is to move forward the plan of placing The Roxy on the register of Historic Places!! We are so excited to know we may soon have our own historic place in Cascade and yet another for Valley County. Your donation will go to this effort. So if you can please donate. We need your help with a new Lighting and PA Sound System
We have had a fun year hosting the live shows. You all have been wonderful and thanks for coming in to share these nights with us. We do it all for you!!
In doing these shows we have learned that the Roxy is in need of some upgrades. The lighting system, some from 1939, is a little on the outdated side. We want to bring the system up to this decade and well we need your help. These two systems are very important to the live shows. Lights, uh for well light, and the PA system so you can hear them. These will be used by all of the shows, including plays and bands, to comedians. So we are trying to gain your finacial support. If you can give to The Friends of The Roxy, it will go to the purchase and installation of this system. This is the last thing we want to do before getting The Roxy placed on the Register of National Historic Places. These donations will be used for only the performing arts items used at The Roxy. The movie side of the house is all different equipment. So when you donate, you are helping the arts!
If you can help out, click this link - All friends who donate more than $200 are placed on the Friends of The Roxy Board! This board in in our lobby for all to see. If you want to help out but can't do $200, that's ok we can still use your help and you are still our friend!
Update - I hope the use of the Paypal to make a dontation will be a good idea. I have had some people worry about it though. Just to let you know there is nothing I am shipping to you, you are not buying anything - just a card with thanks and if you donate over $200 your Friends of The Roxy Member Card. If you use paypal it is secure and we don't get your credit card info. It also has great online fraud protection. (If any one knows how to do the HTML on the paypal button so it reads donation, please let me know.) This should be an good way for anyone to donate to Save The Roxy without having to track us down. You don't have to get a Paypal account to use this. Of course you can still come in and see us and donate there. Or just come see us we love to talk with everyone.

Most Upgrades were bought with the help of The Friends of The Roxy!
These people are near and dear to our hearts. Starting in 2009 there will be a gala event just for The Friends of The Roxy! What a night it will be. We will keep you posted!!
Stage Shows
We are trying to upgrade our systems so we can handle large theatre groups from around the state and the USA. We also want to help our local artists show off their talent. The local Talent Show is coming back in the winter of 2008!
